Laurinda Moran: Practice Manager for the POPPS and MOMMS clinics.
Laurinda attended Indiana University for her Bachelor’s degree in the Allied Health-Division of General and Technical Studies, and did her internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Kokomo, Indiana and Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis, Indiana for her X-Ray Technician license. She completed the Emergency Medical Technician program in 1978 and was employed with an ambulance service for five years. She was also accredited to perform vascular dopplar studies/plethysmography in 1980, and was certified to perform acupuncture in 1985 at Texas Chiropractic College, Pasadena, Texas.
Laurinda has more than 25 years in medical consulting, administrative management, insurance billing and HIPAA compliancy protocols. Additionally, her medical experience includes addiction medicine, chronic pain management, acupuncture treatment, physical therapy and return to work programs.
Laurinda moved to Austin in 1984 and enjoys Austin living with her husband, John. Her hobbies include scuba diving, billiards, Austin music and finding a great bargain!
